THE SCRAPPY YANKEES ARE PLAYING GREAT, BUT IT WONT LAST
It won't be long before the Yankee lineup is that funny IL Yankee meme going around, the one that shows the names of the players who are injured, one at each position, and reads, Now Jacoby Ellsbury can't even make the Yankee IL Team.

The Yankees Can’t Catch a Break on Injuries!
With several Yankees players slowly starting to make their way back off the IL (Injured List), whatever glimmer of hope Manger Aaron Boone and Yankees fans had, has died. Catcher Gary Sanchez returned to the line-up against the Angels on April 24, 2019, and there is a good chance we may see other position players such as Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Hicks, Troy Tulowitzki, and possibly Miguel Andjúar returning sooner than we think. But the Yankees can’t seem to catch on break when it comes to injuries, outfielder Clint Frazier reportedly sprained his left ankle sliding back into second base in Monday’s win against the Angels.

A Look At Who Can Step Up For The Banged Up Yankees
The ace Luis Servino was transferred over last Thursday to the 60 day IL with shoulder inflammation and probably will not be back until at least June. The Yankees have already called up Domingo German and Jonthan Loagisia and both have pitched pretty well. German took a no hitter into the 5th inning a couple weeks ago against The Orioles, he is 4 and 1 and third in the AL with a 1.75 ERA. A Pitcher in Triple A right now who could get a call up if there is any more injuries, is Chance Adams, who has 1 career start with the Yankees and is one of the Yankees top pitching prospects. In the bullpen, Dellin Betances suffered a setback while throwing last week, so he will be shut down for another couple weeks.
